The heavy-duty raised floor is used where standard raised floor systems reach their limits. It combines the advantages of a raised floor – accessible installation space, flexible use, easy-to-maintain construction – with a greatly increased load-bearing capacity. This makes it the ideal solution for industrial halls, technical rooms, and logistics areas with high load requirements.
A heavy-duty raised floor is a reinforced raised floor system whose panels and substructure are specially designed for extreme point and surface loads. As with the classic raised floor, a continuous cavity for cables, lines, and media is created between the raw floor and the floor surface. The difference: The heavy-duty raised floor can permanently withstand loads of tons caused by machines, shelving systems, or technical equipment.
The structure of a heavy-duty raised floor is based on particularly load-bearing panel materials (e.g. calcium sulfate or special composite panels) and a reinforced support grid. Depending on project requirements, crossbeams can be integrated to further optimize load absorption.
Raised floor: Flexible cable routing, ideal for office buildings and administrative buildings
Heavy-duty raised floor: Significantly higher load-bearing capacity, specially developed for industry, data centers, and storage areas
The heavy-duty raised floor offers all the advantages of raised floor technology, enhanced by maximum load-bearing capacity and stability.
