What is a Dry Access Floor?

The dry access floor is an access floor system that does not require cement-bound screed layers. Instead, a dry construction access floor structure is used: floor panels – mostly made of calcium sulfate – rest on height-adjustable pedestals and form a load-bearing, flat floor. In the cavity below, installations for power, data, ventilation, or media are routed securely and accessibly.
